Mother Baby Unit: The Day Stay Program
The Day Stay Program

What is the program?
Operating from Masada Mother Baby Unit is a two-day program offering mothers and babies assistance with:
- Infant feeding difficulties
- Infant sleeping difficulties
- Unsettled/irritable infants
- Reflux/colic
- Maternal exhaustion
A General Practitioner will consult with you to exclude physical problems and assess your baby. You will meet with other mothers to share your experiences and concerns in a group setting. Experienced nursing staff will facilitate these groups and opportunity will be provided for you to have individual time with our staff. We also value the input of your partners who will be invited to attend from 9am-11am. This will give them an opportunity to understand the practicalities of parenting issues and to work in partnership.
Who is the program for?
The program provides a venue for parent education, early intervention and development of support networks. Minimal disruption to family life allows parents to look at and address common parenting problems. It also helps them make the changes needed for positive and enjoyable learning.
