Dr Aviva Nathan is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practicing in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs. Dr Nathan graduated from Monash University in Medicine in 1997 and completed her internship, residency and specialist training at Monash Health, obtaining her Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2008.
She has also worked in outer Melbourne hospitals with leading gynaecologists in laparoscopy, abdominal and vaginal surgery as well as managing both low risk and high risk pregnancies.
Dr Nathan maintains an active interest in teaching and is involved in the training, mentoring and examining of medical students and doctors specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr Nathan holds an appointment at Monash Medical Centre and in 2019 was honoured with an Award for 20 years of Service at Monash Health.
