A/Prof Sinclair is also a world leader in laryngeal nerve monitoring & voice preservation during thyroid surgery, having created a new method for intraoperative continuous laryngeal neuromonitoring during thyroid procedures. With regards to laryngology, A/Prof Sinclair works at the Melbourne Voice Analysis Centre and has an interest and surgical expertise in professional voice, neurolaryngology & the laryngeal adductor reflex.
A/Prof Sinclair has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on thyroid related topics and laryngeal disease. She is the current Editor-in-Chief of VideoEndocrinology, one of the three official journals of the American Thyroid Association
