Pain Specialists Australia, Co-Founder and Medical Director and Dr Nick Christelis holds two specialist medical qualifications in pain medicine: from the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, and the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in London (UK). Nick has over 15 years of experience and practices full-time within the field of pain medicine. He is a pain medicine physician with interest in intervention combining the full multidisciplinary team approach with advanced pain interventional techniques like nerve and joint blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, pulsed radiofrequency, spinal cord stimulation and other advanced neuromodulation techniques.

Dr Simon Cohen BSc MBChB FRACP FFPMANZCA

Dr Simon Cohen practices pain medicine at Monash House and Monash Children’s Hospital in Clayton, Melbourne. He is dually qualified in pain as a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine and in paediatrics as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is an honorary lecturer at Monash University and past chair of the paediatric special interest group of the Australian Pain Society

Dr Neels (Cornelius) Du Toit MBChB FACSP FIPP

I completed my undergraduate degree in medicine at the University of the Free State, South Africa in 1997 before coming to Australia in 2003. I then commenced specialist training as a sports physician at the Brisbane Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, and subsequently at Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre in Melbourne. I completed my fellowship as a Sports and Exercise Physician in 2008. I went on to develop an interest in chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions especially chronic spinal pain, chronic groin and shoulder pain.
